City of Morehouse, MO is Hiring a Police Officer (Part-Time) Near Morehouse, MO

Responsibilities:

- Enforce laws and ordinances to maintain public order and safety
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect criminal activity
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence for criminal cases
- Arrest and process individuals suspected of committing crimes
- Write detailed reports documenting incidents and activities
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior officers
- Conduct surveillance operations to gather intelligence on criminal activity
- Assist with loss prevention efforts in commercial establishments
- Handle and care for animals, including animal control and welfare duties
- Perform CPR and other life-saving techniques when necessary

Qualifications:

- Must be a certified law enforcement officer or eligible for certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and procedures
- Proficient in report writing and documentation
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques and equipment
- Ability to handle animals safely and effectively
